GE Money - Auto Warranty Services Releases 2007 ProgramExpanded Product Offering, Continued Price Stability and an Experienced Marketing Leader LAKEWOOD, COLO. – February 26, 2007 – GE Money’s Auto Warranty Services unit, a leading provider of vehicle service contracts (VSC), recently launched its 2007 program with a wider range of products. For the third year in a row, AWS maintained it pricing for participating new and used car dealerships. The organization also announced the appointment of Amanda Costanzi as vice president, Marketing and Product Development. “We continue to provide industry-leading stability and financial security with our full suite of updated products," said Orlando Zayas, president of GE Money – Auto Warranty Services. "I'm proud to say we experienced 30 percent growth in 2006, and we expect to build on that momentum with our 2007 program.” The 2007 program has expanded terms to better support underlying factory warranties and competitive pricing with terms to 100,000 miles. Auto Warranty Services will continue to administer and insure service contracts and work with providing dealers to support customers. Multiple vehicle class reductions enable AWS to offer competitive pricing on both original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and other independent providers. "By midyear, we expect to add at least two new products to our offerings and expand the number and quality of our marketing materials available for both agents and dealers,” said Costanzi. “These efforts, combined with our strong customer service will help propel GE Money further ahead in the industry." Costanzi will be responsible for driving growth through expanded marketing initiatives and new product delivery. She comes to the position from GE's Partnership Marketing Group, where she successfully chartered a new marketing communications model to leverage resources and deliver multi-channel campaigns for numerous brands, including AARP Motoring Plan, SAM’S Club – Motor Club, Exxon and Porsche.
